Your attendance code — what it is and how to get one
Your attendance code is what you type on the tablet at your centre to check your child in or out.
It's two parts: the last four digits of your phone number, then a short secret suffix. The suffix is the part only you know. Your centre sets how long it is — four digits, or six on the stricter setting — so you'll be typing eight or ten digits in total. The last-four prefix makes the code memorable and lets the tablet find you quickly; it isn't the secret, and it isn't treated as one.
Where to get it: open the KinderBee app, go to Profile, and find Attendance code.
- No code yet? If your centre has the last four digits of your phone number, you can issue your first code yourself, right there. Otherwise ask your centre to set one up.
- Need a new one? You can replace your own code from the same place, any time.
You see the code exactly once — at the moment it's issued or replaced. We store it scrambled and can't read it back, not even to show you. Write it somewhere safe or commit it to memory before you close that screen. If you lose it, replace it; that's a two-tap job, not a support ticket.
Five wrong entries locks that code for 15 minutes. It's a keypad in a doorway at 7:45am, so a few fat-fingered tries are expected — but a run of wrong guesses stops. If you're locked out, a member of staff can check your child in, and replacing your code clears the lock immediately.
One code per centre. If you have children at two centres using KinderBee, you'll have a separate code at each.
Don't share it, and don't write it on the pushchair. It's the thing that records your child leaving the building.
